Meet The Owner
McKenzie Jones
Dance has played a huge part of McKenzie’s life for as long as she can remember. Growing up in Northern Utah and Iowa, she discovered her passion for dance at a young age and spent her childhood and high school years training, performing, and competing. Those experiences shaped not only her love for the art of dance but also her desire to help young dancers grow into confident, capable individuals.
With more than 15 years of teaching experience, McKenzie has dedicated her career to mentoring dancers of all ages and abilities. For the past eight years, she has been a leader at the studio, where she has loved teaching classes, directing competition teams, and creating award-winning choreography that has earned numerous team and individual titles. Her greatest accomplishment, however, isn't measured by trophies'; it's watching her dancers gain confidence, build lasting friendships, and discover what they're capable of both on and off the stage!
McKenzie and her husband, Gavin, have been married since 2015 and are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters. Together, they've made St. George, Utah, their forever home and are passionate about investing in the community they love.
As the owner of Edge Dance, McKenzie is committed to creating more than just exceptional dancers. Her vision is to build a place where every child feels seen, encouraged, and inspired to reach their full potential. Through quality instruction, meaningful mentorship, and a positive studio culture, she hopes every dancer who walks through the doors will not only develop their skills but also discover their confidence, their purpose, and their true value and worth.
